Emotional

.

  • The Third Core of Balance

Emotional and Spiritual Growth are important to a balanced life.  Spiritual - So many people run from this word because they think of it as the same as religion.  What it really is.. is the "I" within.  Doctors and Scientists have cut into the brain but have never found the "I".  What ever you call that - soul.. spirit... self.  How are  you nourishing it?  If you give to everyone else day in and day out, eventually you have nothing left to give. You have to recharge somehow.  Some people use meditation, some listen to music, some go to church, some read good books.  What do you do?

How are you increasing your self worth.. your self esteem?  Do you use affirmations?  The subconscious only does what the conscious brain tells it. What have you been telling it?  Words like "I will never make it.  I am not good enough.  I don't have what it takes"  only program the subconscious to make sure that is exactly what you get.  Make sure you tell your brain exactly what you want and it will make sure it creates that for you.  However the goal is, you have to tell it the good more then you tell it the bad.  If you need help with this, I have listed several products on this page to help support you in that quest.

The model introduced by Daniel Goleman

The model introduced by Daniel Goleman

Self-awareness — the ability to read one's emotions and recognize their impact while using gut feelings to guide decisions.
Self-management — involves controlling one's emotions and impulses and adapting to changing circumstances.
Social awareness — the ability to sense, understand, and react to others' emotions while comprehending social networks.
Relationship management — the ability to inspire, influence, and develop others while managing conflict.

Emotional competencies are not innate talents, but rather learned capabilities that must be worked on and developed to achieve outstanding performance.
